PondClear is a high-performance pond clarifier that targets impurities which remain suspended in water, even when advanced filtration systems are in use. These fine particles contribute to cloudy or turbid water and are often not caught by standard pond filters.
The formulation works by flocculating (clumping) floating algae as well as mineral and organic suspended matter—such as silt, uneaten food, or fish waste. Once bound into floc, the debris can be easily removed using a pond net, vacuum, or filtration system.
In addition to improving water clarity, PondClear also reduces levels of heavy metals and phosphate—one of the key nutrients responsible for algae growth.
Important Usage Notes
- The carbonate hardness (KH) of the pond water should be at least 3 °dKH before use.
- Do not use if the pond contains sturgeon or other sensitive species.
