Advanced Four-Stage Filtration
The myAqua3800 uses an efficient four-stage filtration process to ensure outstanding water purity without the use of chemical additives.
The filtration process begins with a fine sediment filter, which removes suspended particles, dirt, rust, and other larger impurities that could reduce filter performance.
Water then passes through a high-quality activated carbon filter, removing chlorine, unpleasant odours, discolouration, and a wide range of chemical contaminants that may otherwise damage the reverse osmosis membrane.
The heart of the system is the advanced reverse osmosis membrane, capable of removing up to 99% of dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, pesticides, nitrates, phosphates, and other pollutants. This stage produces exceptionally pure water suitable for even the most demanding aquarium applications.
Finally, a second activated carbon post-filter polishes the purified water, ensuring the highest possible water quality before use.
Efficient Water Production
Unlike many conventional reverse osmosis systems that produce large volumes of wastewater, the myAqua3800 achieves an impressive approximately 1:1 water yield ratio, helping to reduce water waste while maintaining excellent filtration performance. Depending on operating conditions, the system can achieve a ratio of approximately 1:1 to 1.5, making it both economical and environmentally responsible.
With a maximum flow rate of 2.6 litres per minute, the myAqua3800 can quickly produce the large quantities of purified water required for frequent water changes or automated refill systems.
Smart Maintenance
Routine maintenance has been designed to be quick and straightforward. Built-in LED indicators and audible alerts notify you when filter cartridges require replacement, helping maintain optimal filtration performance at all times.
Each filter cartridge simply unscrews from the housing, allowing rapid replacement without specialist tools or complicated servicing procedures.
For users requiring ultra-low TDS water, the system can also be upgraded with an optional deionising resin filter, which removes the final traces of silicates, nitrates, phosphates, and other dissolved organic and inorganic compounds.
Easy Installation
The ARKA myAqua3800 includes a comprehensive installation kit, allowing it to be connected to most standard household water supplies. The supplied water tap adaptor fits standard sinks, while the included wall mounting hardware makes permanent installation simple and secure.
