Phosmax Pro is a unique cartridge designed for chemical filtration of water in freshwater aquariums and terrarium pools. It is used to chemically absorb dissolved phosphates in the water, which are one of the main causes of the development of nuisance algae in the aquarium.

How does Phosmax Pro work?

The cartridge efficiently absorbs phosphates from water. At the same time it is completely safe for both fish and aquarium invertebrates and plants. It works selectively without capturing beneficial compounds such as micronutrients and vitamins from the water. It does not release any toxic substances into the water.

How to use Phosmax Pro?

Phosmax Pro works perfectly as a Filter bed in canister Filters, overflow Filters, internal Filters with chambers for loose media (e.g. TurboFilter), as well as in sumps and Filter stacks. It is especially recommended for tanks with a very large number of fish fed with meat foods (e.g. large cichlids, catfish) and devoid of plants that are natural phosphate absorbers.

The use of Phosmax Pro allows you to reduce the size and frequency of water changes and effectively prevents the growth of algae in the tank.

It is gradually depleted over time. In order to maintain the continuity of its effect, it is recommended to replace it at least once every 4 weeks.
