How it works.
PearlMax Bio is a Filter media with active adsorption capacity. They have hollow spaces inside that create concentration differences between NH4 and NO2 ions, actively adsorbing them on their surface. As a result, they eliminate these harmful substances, creating a healthier environment for fish and plants. These unique Filter media are rich in trace elements, which are released gradually. This supports the metabolism of aquatic organisms, contributing to their healthy growth and development. Pearl Max Bio is versatile and can be used in various Filters and filtration systems, even in small tanks. What’s more, these Filter cartridges are neutral and do not change the pH, kh or gh values in the aquarium, ensuring stable water parameters.
How long does it last?
The cartridge is extremely durable and does not degrade quickly. Cleaning the cartridge involves rinsing it in aquarium water. It is recommended to partially replace about 50% of the cartridge every 4-6 months.
