What is the uniqueness of the Multi Kani Filter and why should it attract your attention?

Let’s start with the fact that usually the first choice of beginners in the aquarium hobby is small or medium-sized aquariums, where small internal Filters are used. As the hobby grows and more larger aquariums are purchased, there is a need to replace small internal Filters with larger and more expensive canister Filters. This generates costs.

The uniqueness of the MultiKani lies in its versatility. The Filter performs well in small, 20-liter aquariums – including those with low water levels like aquaterraria and paludaria – as well as large tanks of up to 300 liters.

How does it work?

The Filter takes the form of a Container filled with Filter media. Whenever you need a more efficient Filter, e.g. due to the purchase of a larger aquarium, you add another module to the Multi Kani, i.e. another Container filled with media. This is a cheaper and more environmentally friendly solution than replacing an old unit with a new one.

Important: you can use ready-made Containers, filled with Bioceramax 600 and Carbomax cartridges.

Or you can buy empty Containers and fill them with Filter media (mechanical, biological, ceramic) or Sponge cartridges selected to your needs.

Is it difficult to expand the Filter yourself?

Expanding the Filter by adding more Containers with Filter media is easy and a bit like building a tower of blocks. What’s more, you can connect the Containers linearly or in series with each other. Special wrenches (included in the Set) will help you expand and connect the Containers.

Is that all?

No. Multikani allows you to install the pump both inside and outside the aquarium. This is a great solution, because thanks to this, the Filter Containers can be placed both under the aquarium, next to it or above the water level. So it’s easy to hide them anywhere.

What’s more, the Multikani has a cover with a by-pass equipped shut-off valve, which makes cleaning the Filter much easier and eliminates the need to turn off the pump for service work.
