APT F/Fix by 2Hr Aquarist is an innovative water additive designed to support the removal of algae in freshwater aquariums. Unlike conventional treatments, APT F/Fix does not contain biocides, which can accumulate in water over time. Instead, it works by using epoxy-aldehyde to inhibit weak protein compounds in algae cells, making it easier to remove red, green, and filamentous algae. Its active ingredient degrades rapidly, preventing bio-accumulation and ensuring the aquarium environment remains clean and safe.

Application

• Pause filter during application
• For spot dosing: use up to 1 ml per 10 litres every 24 hours
• For larger areas: it is acceptable to exceed the 1 ml per 10 litres limit; apply directly to affected areas and perform a 50% water change afterwards
