Description

Nitrogen is one of the primary macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium: NPK) required by aquatic plants and can often become the limiting factor to growth in a flourishing aquarium. Flourish Nitrogen™ is a concentrated (15,000 mg/L) blend of nitrogen sources designed to support robust plant development.

Dual-Source Nitrogen

Flourish Nitrogen™ supplies nitrogen in two forms: nitrate and ammonium. The ammonium is complexed and therefore not freely available until it is utilised by the plants, ensuring that no free ammonia is released into the aquarium. The ammonium becomes available following the breakdown of urea (carbamide). This dual-source approach supports plants that prefer ammonium as well as those that readily absorb nitrate.
