The Rio 290 LED aquarium set by Juwel blends timeless design with advanced features. Its classic rectangular shape and compact footprint of 101 x 51 cm (height: 66 cm) make it easy to integrate into any home interior. The safety frame ensures a secure, stable setup without the need for special supports.

Crafted in Germany using high-quality materials and precision engineering, the Rio 290 LED offers durability, reliability, and safety. The advanced MultiLux LED lighting technology delivers brilliant illumination and promotes lush plant growth, while the replaceable DAY and NATURE LED tubes save up to 50% energy compared to traditional T5 tubes. The ultrasonically welded lighting unit is fully waterproof and compliant with European safety standards.

Filtration is handled by the high-performance Bioflow L internal filter system, which safely keeps the water inside the aquarium. It includes five filter media types and a quiet, powerful Eccoflow 1000 circulation pump. Heating is provided by the Juwel AquaHeat Pro 300W adjustable heater, which features high-quality silver contacts and ensures optimal temperature control.

For a cohesive look and additional functionality, an optional matching base cabinet is available in the same colours as the aquarium. It offers secure support and generous storage space for accessories.
