PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ZEOMAX Plus is a unique filtration cartridge made of high-quality natural zeolite, known for its excellent ion-exchange properties. Placed in the filter, it captures from the water and binds ammonium ions, effectively reducing toxic ammonia levels. This helps maintain a safe and stable environment for fish, especially in newly established aquariums or tanks with a high biological load.

It is in the form of durable, dust-free granules thanks to a carefully developed dust removal technology.

Where and when does ZeoMAX Plus work well?

ZeoMAX Plus works well as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with bulk media chambers (such as TURBOFILTER), as well as in sumps and filter chimneys. It is especially recommended for use in newly set up tanks during the biological start-up phase, after cleaning the aquarium, or in situations where ammonia spikes may occur.

One package of ZeoMAX Plus contains two 0.5 l bags.

One bag of ZeoMAX Plus is recommended for a 150-liter tank. It is particularly useful in aquariums with sensitive fish species and in cases where ammonia levels need to be reduced quickly.

How to use ZeoMAX Plus?

ZeoMAX Plus is immediately ready to use and does not require rinsing or performing any other additional steps. Place the contents of the package in the filter basket or filter chamber. For best results, it is recommended to position the ZeoMAX Plus cartridge after mechanical filtration cartridges but before biological filtration cartridges, to effectively protect beneficial bacteria from ammonia overload.

Due to the ion-exchange mechanism, ZeoMAX Plus gradually becomes saturated and loses its properties. To ensure optimal filtration efficiency, it should be replaced every 4 weeks, or earlier if ammonia levels rise.
