AquaEL NITROMAX PRO FILTRATION CARTRIDGE

NitroMAX Pro is a unique cartridge designed for chemical filtration of water in freshwater aquariums, paludariums and terrarium pools. It comes in the form of fleece pouches filled with specially selected ion exchange resin stabilized with filler.

How does NitroMAX Pro work?

The unique ion-exchange resin used in NitroMAX Pro has excellent absorption properties. As a result, it absorbs dissolved toxic nitrogenous compounds from water. It captures nitrite and nitrate ions from the water. It protects fish from nitrogenous substances harmful to them and allows to reduce the size and frequency of water changes. It is extremely effective in preventing the growth of algae.

NitroMAX Pro works perfectly as a Filter bed in canister Filters, overflow Filters, internal Filters with chambers for loose media (e.g. TurboFilter), as well as in sumps and Filter stacks.

How to use NitroMAX Pro?

NitroMAX Pro is i mmediately ready to use and requires no rinsing or other additional steps. Place the contents of the package in the Filter basket or Filter chamber. It is recommended to place the NitroMAX Pro cartridge after the mechanical and biological filtration cartridges for optimal use. NitroMAX Pro is recommended for Filters for all outdoor Filters as well as indoor Filters equipped with a tray.

One sachet provides filtration in about 70 l of aquarium for about 30 days. One package of NitroMAX Pro contains 3 sachets of 100 ml each. The way the NitroMAX Pro cartridge works (sorption) makes it gradually fill and wear out. In order to maintain optimal filtration properties, it should be replaced at least every 4 weeks.
