Effective filtration

Replacement Filter cartridges are a ready-made solution that will improve the care of clean water in the aquarium. Place a single Filter sachet in a special cartridge housing, and these in turn in a matching basket, which you place in the Filter housing in one motion. Thanks to this solution, the replacement of Filter media will not be a hassle even for those who are beginning their adventure with aquaristics.

We have prepared 3 types of cartridges compatible with the FZN PRO Filter:

• Standard – replaceable cartridge made of thick Filtering cotton wool, which provides efficient mechanical filtration of water
• Carbomax – a cartridge of Filter wadding with activated Carbon; in addition to mechanical filtration, it additionally eliminates chemical impurities and discolouration from water
• Phosmax – additionally contains a phosphate eliminator, i.e. protects the aquarium from algae infestation

Each package contains 3 pieces of replaceable cartridges. Depending on the model of FZN PRO, you will need from 1 to 6 cartridges, but ensure the Filtering efficiency. The cartridges can be mixed freely, creating a combination that best suits the needs of your tank.

For the Filter to work properly, remember to clean and replace the cartridges regularly. We reco mmend replacing them at least every 2-4 weeks – you will find this information on the package.

Matching media for FZN PRO Filters

Very quiet and efficient cascade Filters FZN PRO are designed for aquariums from 10 up to 300 liters. They can be used in both fresh and saltwater tanks. The motor located underwater does not need to be flooded, and a number of amenities allow for convenience of use.

Filter media can be placed in a removable basket using the convenience of ready-made cartridges of Filter media. Depending on the model, it holds from 1 to 6 cartridges:

FZN PRO 400 – 1 cartridge

FZN PRO 700 – 2 cartridges

FZN PRO 1000 – 4 cartridges

FZN PRO 1500 – 6 cartridges

If possible, it is a good idea to replace individual trays not at once, but successively over several days. This will give the nitrifying bacteria time to colonize the new medium.
