PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AquaEL MAGIC ALGAE STOP comes in the form of a small sachet that easily fits into the Container of any Filter. Thanks to its unique properties, it stops the growth of green floating algae causing the so-called “green water” effect. It removes algae from water restoring its clarity and transparency.

It works on the principle of chemical sorption efficiently absorbing phosphates, nitrites and nitrates from the water, which are a natural food for algae. Their removal very effectively stops the growth of algae without harming fish, shrimp and higher plants.

Before use, the cartridge should be thoroughly rinsed under running water after which it should be placed inside the Filter. One pack of the cartridge is designed for aquariums up to 100 l and works for 6-8 weeks. In the case of a larger tank, use a larger number of packs or replace the cartridges more often (in proportion to the size of the aquarium).

NOTE: After 6-8 weeks, the cartridge fills with phosphates captured from the water and may begin to release them back into the water, so it should be removed from the Filter earlier and replaced with a new AquaEL MAGIC ALGAE STOP cartridge. The effectiveness of the cartridge may vary depending on the conditions in the aquarium.
