AquaEL CARBOMAX PLUS 1L FILTRATION CARTRIDGE

CarboMAX Plus This is a unique filtration cartridge, made of high-quality activated Carbon, which has excellent absorption properties. Placed in the Filter, it captures from the water and binds dissolved chemicals in it. It neutralizes heavy metal ions and chlorine. It absorbs residues of medicines and other chemical preparations. It also perfectly removes various discolorations (such as those caused by wood placed in the aquarium).

It is in the form of durable dust-free granules thanks to carefully developed dust removal technology.

Where and when does CarboMAX Plus work well?

CarboMAX Plus works well as a Filter bed in canister Filters, overflow Filters, internal Filters with bulk media chambers (e.g. TurboFilter), as well as in sumps and Filter stacks. CarboMAX Plus should be used in newly established aquariums to improve the quality and clarity of fresh aquarium water. One package of CarboMAX Plus contains two 0.5L bags.

One bag of CarboMAX Plus is recommended for a 150 l tank. It is also used in case of discoloration of aquarium water and after fish treatment with chemical preparations.

How to use CarboMAX Plus?

CarboMAX Plus is i mmediately ready to use and does not require rinsing or performing any other additional steps. Place the contents of the package in the Filter basket or Filter chamber. For optimum results of use, it is recommended to place CarboMAX Plus cartridge after mechanical filtration cartridges and after biological filtration cartridges. CarboMAX Plus is recommended for Filters for all external Filters as well as internal Filters equipped with a tray.

The way CarboMAX Plus cartridge works (sorption) makes it gradually fill and wear out. In order to maintain optimal filtration properties, it should be replaced at least every 4 weeks.
