Discus Buffer® – pH and Water Softening for Discus Aquariums

Description

Discus Buffer® is specifically designed to replicate the ideal conditions for keeping discus fish by lowering pH and reducing water hardness (GH). It helps maintain a low pH and keeps it stable, ensuring the optimal environment for these sensitive species. In addition, Discus Buffer® softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium, which can otherwise lead to higher hardness levels.

For a well-rounded environment, use Discus Trace™ to restore essential trace elements and feed NutriDiet® Discus Flakes to ensure healthy, thriving discus. Discus Buffer® is ideal for replicating the soft, slightly acidic water conditions preferred by discus.

Usage Tips

Discus Buffer® can be used in conjunction with Neutral Regulator® to fine-tune pH during water changes or when adding top-off water. This combination is particularly effective when using RO (Reverse Osmosis) water, which lacks buffering capacity. Refer to the provided ratio chart for optimal results.
